Barry Nutovic is an associate with Tao Rossini, APC. He previously worked as an analyst for political campaigns, a legislature, a governor’s office, and a public affairs group. His work included analysis of matters impacting public entities. This has given him insight into many of the legal challenges public entities face. As a lawyer, Mr. Nutovic is committed to helping public entities address their challenges so they can focus on their core missions serving the public.
Mr. Nutovic assists clients with a variety of facilities, real property, and construction matters. His experience includes drafting joint occupancy, construction, and purchase and sale agreements, resolving issues of statutory interpretation, performing title and legal research, and preparing detailed counsel opinion memorandum and correspondence.
Some of the most significant matters on which Mr. Nutovic has worked include a complicated title dispute between school districts and a dispute between school districts and the State Allocation Board, both worth tens of millions of dollars. He has also worked on school facilities safety issues involving unexploded ordnance, asbestos, and toxic waste.
Mr. Nutovic is admitted to practice law in the California State Court System.
Mr. Nutovic received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2013. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2019.
